Ingredients

  • picked radish, washed and drained
    100g
  • dried shrimp
    15g
  • garlic clove
    10g
  • soy sauce
    1teaspoon
  • sugar
    1teaspoon
  • oil
    20g
  • long grain rice, soaked for 4 hours and drained
    100g
  • water
    920g
  • salt
    0.25teaspoon

Preparation

  • step 1

    Place picked radish into mixing bowl.

  • step 2

    Press control knob and chop 8 sec/speed 7.Transfer into a bowl and set aside.

  • step 3

    Place dried shrimp and garlic clove into mixing bowl.

  • step 4

    Press control knob and chop 10 sec/speed 7. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with scraper.

    Add chopped radish, soy sauce, sugar and oil into mixing bowl.

  • step 6

    Press control knob and saute 5 mins/120°C/speed 1. Transfer into a bowl and set aside. Clean mixing bowl.

    Place rice, water and salt into mixing bowl.

  • step 8

    Press control knob and blend 2 mins/speed 10. Transfer into a bowl and set aside. Clean mixing bowl.

  • step 9

    Place the mould in the steamer and set aside.

  • step 10

    Place water into mixing bowl.

  • step 11

    Set Steamer into position, press control knob and steam 10 mins/steaming mode.

  • step 12

    Remove Steamer carefully, open the lid of Steamer, fill the pre-heated mould with rice mixture to 70%.

  • step 13

    Close the Steamer lid, press control knob and steam 15 mins/steaming mode.

  • step 14

    Take out the cake until rice cakes cool completely, topping with radish filling and serve with chilli sauce.
