Preparation

  • step 1

    Place shallots, galangal, lemongrass, garlic clove and ginger into mixing bowl.

  • step 2

    Add dried chillies into mixing bowl.

  • step 3

    Press control knob and chop 10 sec/speed 8. Scrape.down sides of mixing bowl with scraper.

    Press control knob and chop 10 sec/speed 6. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with scraper.

  • step 5

    Add oil, cinnamon, cloves, star anise and cardamons into mixing bowl.

  • step 6

    Press control knob and saute 5 mins/120°C/speed 1.

  • step 7

    Add water, tarmarind paste, beef ribs into mixing bowl.

  • step 8

    Press control knob and cook 5 mins/100°C/reverse speed 1.5.

  • step 9

    Add coconut milk, kaffir lime leaves, kersik paste, palm sugar and salt into mixing bowl.

  • step 10

    Without measuring cup, press control knob and stew 70 mins/95°C/reverse speed 1. Transfer into a serving bowl.

  • step 11

    Serve with steamed rice.
