Ingredients

  • water
    150g
  • unsalted butter, cut in pieces
    120g
  • salt
    1 pinch
  • sugar
    10g
  • flour
    120g
  • eggs

  • dark chocolate, cut in pieces
    250g
  • milk
    200g
  • vanilla ice cream, to serve

Preparation

  • step 1

    Place water, butter, salt and sugar into mixing bowl.

  • step 2

    Press control knob and cook 5 mins/100°C/speed 1.5.

  • step 3

    Add flour into mixing bowl.

  • step 4

    Press control knob and mix 20 sec/speed 4.5. Set mixing bowl aside to cool for 10 mins.

  • step 5

    Preheat the oven to 200°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper and set aside.

    Add eggs into mixing bowl.

  • step 7

    Press control knob and mix 2 mins/speed 5. Transfer pastry mixture into a piping bag. Clean mixing bowl.

    Pipe balls (walnut-size) on prepared baking paper, leave a 5 cm space between them.

    Bake for 20-25 mins (200°C). Turn off and open oven door slightly, leaving it ajar for 10 mins. Remove pastries to cool on a cooling rack.

    Place dark chocolate into mixing bowl.

  • step 11

    Press control knob and chop 15 sec/speed 8.

  • step 12

    Add butter and milk into mixing bowl.

  • step 13

    Press control knob and heat 5 mins/100°C/speed 2. Transfer to a bowl and set aside.

  • step 14

    Cut cold choux pastries in halves. Place one scoop of ice cream on each bottom half and cover with top half.

  • step 15

    Drizzling the chocolate sauce on top and serve.
