Ingredients

  • water, divided
    2500g
  • pork rib (approx. 7cm)
    600g
  • garlic clove
    60g
  • bak kut teh spices(approx. 30g,e.g. ILC®, Seah's®)

  • white peppercorn (approx. 10g)
    2teaspoon
  • Chinese rice wine
    20g
  • spring onion, cut in strips
    15g
  • ginger, sliced
    15g
  • wolfberry (goji)
    1teaspoon
  • Chinese red date

  • soy sauce
    1teaspoon
  • salt, to taste
    0.5teaspoon

Preparation

  • step 1

    Place 1500g water into mixing bowl.

  • step 2

    Press control knob and heat 15 mins/100°C/speed 1.

  • step 3

    Add pork rib into mixing bowl.

  • step 4

    Press control knob and cook 7 mins/100°C/reverse speed 0.5, transfer and clean pork ribs then set aside. Empty mixing bowl

  • step 5

    Place cooked pork rib, bak kut teh spices, white peppercorn, Chinese rice wine, garlic clove and spring onion into mixing bowl.

  • step 6

    Add 1000g water, ginger, wolfberry and Chinese red date into mixing bowl.

  • step 7

    Press control knob and 60 mins/100°C/reverse speed 1.

  • step 8

    Transfer into a serving bowl, season with soy sauce and salt then serve hot.
